Myler Medium Dee Mullen Bit W/ Hooks & Forward Tilt Port - Level 2-3

Crafted in durable stainless steel and featuring a copper inlay on the mouthpiece to help encourage salivation. The Myler Medium Dee Mullen Bit W/ Hooks & Forward Tilt Port features the The MB 36 moutpiece. The MB 36 is a Myler alternative to the traditional mullen, but it has a wide low port that allows the tongue to pass under it comfortably. The port is 1 in. high and tilted forward at a 45º angle, allowing just enough room for the horse’s tongue to elevate slightly and swallow but not high enough for palate pressure. When the reins are engaged, the MB 36 applies pressure primarily to the bars and lip but also applies tongue pressure because of the forward tilt. Direct rein action when reins are not attached through rein hook. Indirect/curb rein action when rein is fixed on rein hook. Little to no leverage when the hooks are used.
